What is SLES?

Sodium laureth sulfate, or sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), is a detergent and surfactant found in many personal care products (soaps, shampoos, toothpaste etc.). SLES is an inexpensive and very effective foaming(bubbling) agent.

Recently i went to guardian to check which shampoo doesn't contain SLES...
but sad to say..Only one shampoo is free from SLS which is Himalaya's Shampoo...

Most of the shampoo contain either SLES or ALS(Ammonium Lauryl Sulphate, Same like SLES)
SLES/ALS were banned in few country such as Canada, Europe, Dubai etc...
